We closed out the first week of the 2026–27 school year the way we like to: with music, sunshine, and a whole lot of coco helado.

Our annual Welcome Back Luau brought students and staff together at the end of the day Friday to celebrate a strong opening week. Delicioso Coco Helado set up on site with their full lineup of flavors, and the line stayed steady from the first scoop to the last. Between the music and the crowd, it was a good reminder of what makes this community feel like a family.

Thanks to everyone who came out, and to the staff who made it happen. Here’s to a great year ahead.
