Recently, our Senior Band had the incredible opportunity to showcase their hard work on the jazz piece “Girl from Ipanema.”

The performance was a highlight for both the musicians and the audience, as students demonstrated their dedication and talent in front of their peers. During the event, Tiffany took the time to answer questions from students, fostering an engaging dialogue about the joys and challenges of a career in music. Her insights provided valuable lessons for aspiring musicians, highlighting the importance of perseverance and love for one’s craft.

The event became even more memorable when jazz vocalist @tiffanygridironmusic joined the band to perform. Tiffany shared her journey in music, recounting how she discovered her passion for singing as a young child in church and how that passion evolved into a professional career, including performances in Japan. Her inspiring story resonated with our students, encouraging them to pursue their own musical dreams. 

This event was a wonderful reminder of the joy that music brings to our lives and how it can connect us across different experiences and backgrounds. We are proud of our Senior Band for their dedication and creativity, and we look forward to seeing where their musical journeys take them next.
