our students experienced an inspiring and educational journey through Washington, D.C., beginning with an immersive campus visit to Howard University.
Guided by a local expert, students explored Howard’s historic campus, learning about its rich legacy, academic excellence, and vibrant community life-a true highlight for anyone considering higher education.
The adventure continued as students toured some of the most significant sites in the nation’s capital. With stops at the U.S. Capitol Building, the Supreme Court, and the Jefferson, FDR, MLK, and Lincoln memorials, students gained firsthand insight into American history, government, and the enduring impact of these leaders and institutions. Each site offered a unique perspective on the nation’s past and the ongoing pursuit of justice and equality.
After a full day of exploration and learning, the group capped off the evening with dinner and a quick photo session at the White House-an unforgettable memory for all involved.
Experiences like these not only deepen students’ understanding of history and civics but also strengthen our #jaguarfamily through shared discovery and community building. We’re grateful for opportunities that take learning outside the classroom and help our students see themselves as part of a larger story.
