Exciting news! Our 9th-grade Climate Justice Class embarked on an adventurous journey to Governors Island where they had an amazing opportunity to learn from the @grownyc Teaching Garden.

This unique opportunity allowed the students to expand their knowledge of climate justice and sustainability while getting their hands dirty with a hands-on approach to gardening. Through engaging in this exciting journey, the students were able to connect with nature and explore the many benefits of eco-friendly practices. Truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that further entrenched all of our passion for making a positive impact on our planet. It’s thrilling to see young people taking a proactive approach to environmental conservation, and we can’t wait to see the positive impact they’ll create in the future. #jaguarfamily
